About

An international student who has studied in 4 countries, I adapt easily and curiosity is what drives everything I do. I specialize in embedded programming because I want my code to reach beyond the screen, and have a real, physical impact.

At school I've been a board member of the student association, where I founded a hackerspace, initiated a partnership with Technoport, Luxembourg's largest deeptech incubator, and represented the school at events and conferences.

At 42, we learn by doing, and I apply that same philosophy to electronics and embedded programming outside of school. From a small autonomous Arduino car to a solar-powered ESP32 desk station, I'm always working on something. Most recently I joined a group of volunteers building solar and human-powered phone charging stations for public use.

I'm always looking for the next thing to learn, and I can't wait to build things that matter alongside a team.

Qualities

<aside>

Fast leaner

A new framework, software, language or anything that is needed to accomplish a project in time. That's what you learn at 42, adapt quickly and be agile to face a totally unpredictable world, where the only constant is change.

</aside>

<aside>

Curious

Passionated about technology (and sci-fi), the possibilities are endless, there is always something new being built, something new to discover or learn about. And curiosity naturally feeds creativity. The wider your knowledge, the more connections you can make, and for a developer that makes all the difference.

</aside>

<aside>

Autonomous

42's motto is "learn to learn", and I took it to heart. When faced with a challenge, I know how to find the right resources, work through the problem and figure out a solution on my own.

</aside>

<aside>

Team work

I'm comfortable working with people and thrive in a team environment. I communicate clearly, know how to coordinate efforts, delegate tasks and keep things moving in the right direction.

</aside>

<aside>

Versatile

I can shift between different modes of thinking depending on what a project needs. Whether it's stepping back to brainstorm, think about architecture, or consider the business angle, or diving deep into the technical side to code and implement features, I'm comfortable operating at both levels.

Education

I started my academic journey on the business and marketing side, before realizing that what I truly enjoyed was the creation process itself. After graduating with a Master's in International Marketing of Innovation, I decided to jump in headfirst and study computer science, to be able to build things with my own hands and create projects that have a real impact on the world. Yes, I’m an utopist.
